To compete in this category, artists used the same pattern and made their version with out any other modification to the pattern pieces.

All entries were to be 11-12" (28-30cm) tall.

Nora is a 12” polar bear is pellet filled and made of alpaca fur. She has a leather nose, leather paw pads, and a needle felted face. Nora has hand made polymer claws and glass eyes.

Bartholemew is made from long pile green faux fur. He is 11" tall and is 5-way jointed. Scissor sculpted to show his paw pads and his needle felted face. Eyes are glass and his nose is needle felted. Stuffed with poly stuffing and is firmly stuffed. The roving that his face was sculpted has been hand dyed and his face has been felted to give the pattern a chubby face.

Hearts is 11" tall and is made from Pink Ultra-suede. Her paw pads and heart shaped nose are faux suede. Glass eyes and stuffed with polyester stuffing and glass beads. 5-way jointed and has red heart buttons everywhere, including a belly button.

Piernik is the Polish word for gingerbread. Bear is 11" tall. He is made with ultra soft ginger coloured fabric and has shaded wool felt paw and foot pads. Black German glass eyes and a scissor sculpted muzzle. Embroidered nose with green glitter and several layers of

gloss. 5-way disc jointed and is filled with high-loft polyester and stone pellets. His gingerbread costume consists of white rickrack and red buttons. OOAK.

Gastone is 12" tall and made with cream colored sparse Schulte mohair and then distressed to give an old look. Brown German glass eyes. Nose is hand stitched with black cotton perle. Paw pads are grey felt. 5-way cotter pin jointed and stuffed with wool and straw. He has an old red bandana around his neck.
